An essential accessory for anyone using a chasen (matcha whisk), the naoshi (chasen-holder) preserves the shape of the whisk while enabling it to dry properly. In fact, drying a chasen upside down with the handle on a table increases the risk of surplus moisture in the base, where the fine fronds bind to the bamboo handle. The chasen is sold separately.

For 7 long nights this green tea is exposed to the fragrance of fresh jasmine flowers. A Chinese classic, these tightly-rolled pearls unfurl for a delicate and totally seductive pairing of flower and tea. The pyramid form of these compostable teabags (no nylon is used) liberates the leaves' rich flavours revealing the freshness of the tea.

Rich with the knowledge of 16 generations of tea producers in Uji (Japan), Mr. Koyama offers us this amazingly accessible and addictive Matcha. This fine green tea powder delivers an experience of exquisite intensity with its liquor bearing rich tastes of herbs and algae.

The glass infuser pitcher is ideal for brewing hot teas, iced teas or herbal infusions. The glass withstands water from cold to boiling and is a neutral, easy-to-clean material allowing you to switch, without aromatic transfer, from one style of infusion to another. The spacious filter allows leaves of all styles and sizes to release their full flavour. Using the pitcher 1- Measure the leaves into the infuser basket (12.5g or 5 to 10 teaspoons, depending on the size of the leaves). 2- Fill the pitcher with water of the desired temperature: 75°C to 95°C for hot infusions, or simply cold water for a cold infusion. 3- Insert the infuser basket into the pitcher and leave to infuse for the recommended time (for a cold infusion, we suggest between 8 and 12 hours). 4- Remove the infuser basket, replace the lid and enjoy.

Here is a Ceremonial Grade organic Matcha green tea from a spring harvest that comes from Kirishima in Kagoshima Prefecture on Japan's southernmost main island, Kyushu. Before emulsifying, the fine powder gives off notes of chocolate milk. The creamy mousse is very easy to obtain, which will please both less experienced amateurs and connoisseurs. The taste of the beverage starts with vegetable notes (endives) and ends with subtle tropical fruit flavours typical of the Yabukita cultivar.
